SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it is alarmed regarding the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration more info Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company level established for intervention experiences a sassa status check substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to help the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
